Getting to the Gameday Seminars

Huddle with the Faculty: Gameday Seminars offers lectures by leading Rutgers scholars. Held at the Busch Dining Hall, seminars begin three hours before kickoff and include a tailgate buffet and shuttle service from designated bus stops. For each game day, attendees may choose one of two concurrent seminars. The one-hour time frame includes a 30- to 40-minute lecture followed by a question-and-answer period. After the seminar, join the tailgate party, which is included with your $10 registration fee, and mingle with the faculty, fellow alumni, and special university guests. Early registration is encouraged and does not include admission to the Rutgers football games. For football ticket information, call the Rutgers Athletics Ticket Office: 866-445-GORU (4678).

Registration

Don't forget to register. The cost is $10 per person for each game day and includes a tailgate party and access to a cash bar. Register online, or call 732-932-4700, ext. 4215, weekdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.; payment can be made with a major credit card.

Seminar Times

Seminars begin three hours prior to kickoff. Starting times vary due to television broadcast scheduling. Please check this website, or call 732-932-7823, ext. 677, closer to the day of the seminar you plan to attend to confirm the actual time.

Location and Directions

Gameday Seminars will be held in the Faculty Dining Room at Busch Dining Hall, 608 Bartholomew Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854. Look for signs directing you to the dining room entrance, which can be reached from Parking Lot 67B. The Busch Dining Hall is accessible for people with disabilities.

Parking

If you do not have pre-assigned parking, paid lots will be available at the Louis Brown Athletic Center (RAC) on the Livingston Campus. For information on parking for the disabled, contact the Rutgers Athletics Ticket Office: 866-445-GORU (4678).

Shuttle Service to the Busch Dining Hall

Getting to the seminars held in the Faculty Dining Room at the Busch Dining Hall is easy from various campus parking lots. Beginning one hour prior to the start of the seminars look for signs directing you to the Huddle Shuttle minibus, which departs from the following locations:

On the Livingston Campus:

Board a Huddle Shuttle minibus in front of the Louis Brown Athletic Center (RAC)

On the Busch Campus:

Board a Huddle Shuttle minibus at the intersection of Sutphen Road and Scarlet Knight Way (the intersection closest to the North Gate of Rutgers Stadium)
Participants may also walk to the Busch Dining Hall from nearby lots

After the seminar, the Huddle Shuttle minibus will bring seminar attendees to the stadium in time for the kickoff. Attendees may also walk to the stadium, which is approximately a half mile from the dining hall.
